Since late 2016, Staten Island outfit Cyderian Son have honed a progressive and engaging sound, edging both alternative rock and metal. Debut full-length '[R.E:]M.ILY' was the first showcase of the band's ambitious M.O, choc full of mesmerizing guitars and and intricate vocal/instrumental interplay.
Influences such as Coheed & Cambria, The Contortionist and Awake at Last are rife on new single 'Mayans', Cyderian Son's first new material since the debut album.
Setting the stage for a busy 2021, with an as-of-yet untitled EP on the horizon for a Q1 release, Cyderian Son continue to evolve a sound that skillfully navigates the contours of progressive, alternative rock, with precision and power intertwining with plentiful hooks along the way.
From artwork to song titles and indeed within the music itself, Cyderian Son's global cultural influence is as refreshing as it is prominent; new single 'Mohenjo Daro' includes South Indian vocal percussion technique Konnakol, tempering a rich and mesmerizing progressive rock anthem.
