UK alternative rockers Prey Drive are teaming up with Krod Records for the release of their new music video “Foxes”. The latter is indeed available to watch below! This song is from the band’s upcoming album, “Once more with Feelings”, available at the end of the year.
On this release, the band comments:
“Foxes Is about when life throws obstacles in your path that you had no idea were coming and trying to stay on your feet by sweeping your problems under the carpet.
‘As life takes a dive, you trip and stumble over it all. And we sweep it all underneath’
It’s about looking back fondly at memories but having a distorted memory of how things were by blocking out the negative bits thinking things were better before.
‘Remember us better than we were, better we are, better than I could be!’
It’s about having an optimistic outlook as a child and having hopes and dreams in your youth...
‘We’d set the world alight and on fire’
...only to realise life is not what you had planned out as you grow older.
‘If we only had the time and patience for it all’
“And we're very excited by the album release! Writing, recording and producing this album has been a huge part of our lives for the past 12 months, and so we're just excited for people to hear it. We recorded some it ourselves and designed all artwork as a band. So it's been intensive at times but now we're looking forward to playing shows in support of the release and just having fun with it. The response to "Pancakes" was amazing and we're hoping people enjoy "Foxes" too. The overall sound is a little 'poppier' than Tabula Rasa, but its still us. We're super proud of the collection of songs, the overall sound and the story it tells: we hope everyone else enjoys it too!”
