Learn the story behind Ugly Sun's single 'Little Sister'!
“Little Sister was written live through almost divine intervention. We weren't even working on writing songs and it poured right out of us all simultaneously. We immediately knew it was special because we couldn't stop playing it. Blame the natural intoxication of loud ass rock and roll I guess, it's the reason we all love what we do anyway. It's loud, it's fast, it's in your face, it's spiritual and sexual. All of those things led to the lyrical content. The song's about pure painful hungry lust that nothing can cure. I never want to write love songs and I didn't want the song to be angry or lyrically aggressive. Everybody knows what lust can make you feel. It's rabid and fragile and yearning. The song absolutely captures the insanity and psychological frailty of lust and desire as well as making you want to stage dive and puke so mission accomplished in my book,” reveals John.
