Eat Defeat are 4 guys from Leeds, UK, blending a shared love of pop music, fast skate punk and upbeat pop punk to create high energy melodic songs.
The band has recently dropped a new album ‘I Think We’ll Be OK’, via Bearded Punk Records! It's the closing refrains of their ode to self acceptance ‘Not Today, Old Friend’. Most importantly of all, it's a mantra to help cope with anxiety, self doubt and the darkest thoughts of an overactive imagination. Things might be bad, they might never be perfect, but they can be ok.
Speaking on the release, vocalist Andrew Summers says:
“I'm just so, so excited to have new music out there. I'm the most impatient person in the world when it comes to wanting to share things I'm proud of, so if I had it my way we'd just get the masters and release it immediately. In fact, I'd probably just live stream the whole recording process!”
