Andover, UK post-metalcore outlet Dreameater bring forward their new heavy beatdown offering to the world to showcase their prolific mastery of musicianship.
“I Play God” is the most aggressive song they’ve written to date. It has allowed the band to go down a much darker, much heavier route in terms of the lyrical content. It discusses feelings of betrayal and loss and how those emotions can easily become nasty, chaotic and violent in many different ways. It can also be seen within the music video, along with the story the band are beginning to tell with the upcoming material.
