Black Dog Prowl, a hard hitting rock band from Washington, D.C, will release their fifth record, “Fine Lousy State”, on November 23rd.
The five track EP is a muddy mix of down-tuned guitars, raspy vocals and more fuzz than a peach. Fine Lousy State is music to fix your car to, the kind of record you put on when you're about to do some labor intensive work that will absolutely end in swearing and tool throwing.
On this upcoming release, vocalist Josh Finver comments:
“It’s the culmination of a lot of hard work, a lot of fighting, and, honestly, a lot of anger about what we see happening in our own backyard in Washington, DC, around the country, and around the world”.
“Fine Lousy State” is the first of a two-part EP series. The second, “Resigned Lousy State”, is slated for a Spring 2019 release.
