Since the release of 2010 LP, 'Meet Me In Death Valley', New York outfit Black Suit Youth have torn up the rule book, with a deft an engaging blend of punk rock and indie, with throwback, classic rock vibes darting in and out of the Long Island natives' earlier work.
A DIY ethic, rooted in diligence and hard work has underpinned Black Suit Youth's rise, whether it be on record or the band's live shows, which have seen them support big hitters such as Alien Ant Farm, The Undead & Story of The Year, as well as a raft of high-energy headline runs.
Signing to 59 X Records for the release of 2017's 'False South', Black Suit Youth's sound has continued to mature, but with the comfort of another record under their belt, the confidence in their cohesion and deft vocal/instrumental interplay has allowed the band to push the envelope and blur the lines between punk, alternative rock and indie.
