Conjured from the abyss in 2019, Tryygon reengineers the Blackened Death Metal genre with elements of horror and symphony through the distinctive storytelling of each concept album.
Tryygon started composing music in late 2015 that would eventually be on the debut album « Exilium ». Not wanting to find additional personnel who were willing and able to write and perform, he officially started as a solo project, named after his stage name. Recording for Exilium spanned roughly 3 years, and the album finally saw a digital release November 27, 2019. CDs were not officially released until September 2020.
Plans to write and release a second album were announced April 2020. Recording wrapped in February 2021 and it was confirmed to be an 8-track album. No further details were given.
Tryygon remains the sole member of the project, though he has stated in interviews that he has been searching for live/session members for future performances.
Tryygon is also known as « The Black Goat of Layton » due to often wearing a demonic goat mask hand-made by Dennis « Seregor » Droomers of Carach Angren.
